Vita (Europe) LIMITED is a small and highly focussed British company with an international involvement in honeybee health.

Vita develops, manufactures and markets a range of honeybee health products worldwide with some 40 Distributors in 47 countries and more than 60 veterinary registrations for Vita Bee products such as APISTAN® and APIGUARD®.

Vita invests in research and development of new natural and synthetic preparations for the control of honeybee diseases. New acaricides from both natural and synthetic compounds, new biological agents for the control of chalkbrood and natural agents for the control of foulbroods and wax moth are all under development.

As a small company, Vita (Europe) Ltd has the flexibility and the dedication needed to cooperate and work with Universities and Institutes around the world, assisting them to bring new products to the global market.

Vita promotes Integrated Pest Management (IPM) with a rotation of treatments and research into resistance management worldwide, presenting at conferences large and small in many countries.

Primary research of natural control agents has led Vita (Europe) Ltd into new projects developing effective, natural products for use in both Agriculture and Horticulture.

The Company has been awarded both SMART and LINK awards and grants from UK government towards further developing products for honeybee health and Agricultural and Public Health uses.

Public Health is a further area of development for Vita (Europe) Ltd as we move further into the new millennium.
