Late but still beautiful

Unusual June pollen

Lots of this pollen coming into hives in southern England over the past few days. It’s later than usual — by about a month. A box of swarm lures to one correct answer pulled out of the hat (and veil) before tomorrow (Wednesday) midnight UK time. You can enter your answer in comments below.

    I vote for horse chestnut too. Though whether it is white Aesculus hippocastanum, or the more ornamental Aesculus x carnea, I can’t say!
